 In-Home Personal Training for Women


Michon Lubbers is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She has received a Masters of Art in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation.  She trained college athletes for seven years and has since moved into the field of functional training.

Ms. Lubbers' focus is on those clients who would like to improve their daily quality of life.  The clients that will most benefit from working with Michon will be those  who wish to increase the ease of daily activities.  The age of clients will vary, as each individuals' needs dictate the development of the functional fitness program.

The personal training will focus on building strength, flexibility, agility, balance and speed.  Each of these components can be improved and are part of our daily lives. For example, we use these functions when we get out of bed, step up and down a curb, pick up children, place groceries in and out of the car, gardening, and many other daily activities.   As we get older, we lose what we neglect.

Our body is the Temple that houses God's Holy Spirit; it is in His strength that we can get up every morning and begin to increase what has decreased in our lives!

How do I know a personal trainer is what I need?

You may have been trying to motivate yourself and it just has not been happening.  Maybe you just don't like doing activities alone.  Whatever the reason is that you have not started a regular fitness program, a personal trainer can encourage and motivate as well as help you fit a program into your schedule. Working with a personal trainer allows you to have a set partner creating accountability.

A safe and productive environment and program allows you to increase your flexibility, agility, balance, speed, strength, and endurance.  Consistency is the key to increasing fitness.  A personal trainer can help you reach your desired goals through an individualized program.
